Fibre “Free Bar Tab for Life” – Master Terms & Conditions
Issued by 168 Briggate Ltd (Bar Fibre, Leeds)
These Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”) govern the use of the Fibre Free Bar Tab for Life, issued by 168 Briggate Ltd. By accepting and using this benefit, you agree to the following conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Eligibility
– You must be 18 years of age or over to use the Card.
– Proof of age may be required at any time.
2. Scope of Benefit
– The Card entitles the named holder to unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at Bar Fibre, Leeds, for the duration of their lifetime.
– Drinks must be for personal consumption only.
– A maximum of one drink may be served per transaction.
– If used as part of a round, only the cheapest drink in the round will be discounted.
– Drinks are served by the glass only; bottles or containers containing more than one serving (e.g., bottles of vodka, champagne, wine, or spirits) are excluded.
– Fibre promotes responsible drinking at all times. Abuse of alcohol, intoxication, or inappropriate behaviour may result in withdrawal of the benefit.
3. Licensing Compliance
– All use of the Card is subject to the Licensing Act 2003 and any related laws, including but not limited to:
• Service of alcohol is at the absolute discretion of our staff.
• No service will be made to anyone under 18, or anyone who appears to be purchasing for minors.
• No service will be made to anyone who is, or appears to be, intoxicated.
– We reserve the right to refuse service in line with our licensing obligations.
4. Card & QR Code
– The physical Card is a cosmetic or commemorative item only and holds no redemption power.
– Drinks can only be redeemed by presenting your unique digital QR code on your mobile device.
– The QR code must be personally presented by the winner to staff at the time of ordering.
– Drinks cannot be obtained on the winner’s behalf by another person.
– The QR code is the only valid method of redemption and must be scanned for each transaction.
– QR codes remain the property of 168 Briggate Ltd and may be deactivated if misused.
5. House Rules
– You must comply with all house rules in place at Bar Fibre.
– Failure to do so may result in temporary suspension or permanent withdrawal of the Card without compensation.
6. Non-Transferability & Identification
– The Card is personal to the named holder and cannot be transferred, sold, gifted, or shared.
– Only the person named on the Card may order drinks under this agreement.
– To ensure correct use, an up-to-date, clear photograph of your face will be securely held on our till system and used by staff to verify your identity when redeeming drinks.
7. Misuse & Termination
– Any attempt to abuse or misuse the Card (including, but not limited to, ordering drinks for others, sharing your QR code, disorderly conduct, or breach of licensing rules) will result in immediate termination of the benefit.
– If you breach these T&Cs, our house rules, or any licensing or trading laws, your benefit may be terminated immediately and without notice.
– In such cases, there will be no right of appeal, compensation, or alternative benefit.
– The decision of 168 Briggate Ltd is final and binding.
8. Rebranding or Sale of Venue
– In the event that Bar Fibre is rebranded, renamed, or sold to new ownership, this benefit will automatically become null and void, unless 168 Briggate Ltd provides written confirmation that the benefit will continue under the new arrangement.
9. Indemnity
– By using the Card, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless 168 Briggate Ltd, its directors, employees, and agents against any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost, or expense arising directly or indirectly from:
• Your misuse of the Card;
• Your breach of these T&Cs; or
• Any failure by you to comply with the Licensing Act 2003 or other applicable law.
10. Limitation of Liability
– The Company accepts no liability for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the Card.
– Nothing in these T&Cs excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Amendments
– These Terms & Conditions may be amended, updated, or withdrawn by 168 Briggate Ltd at any time and without prior notice.
– Any changes will take immediate effect upon publication or notification by the Company.
12. Governing Law
– These T&Cs and any disputes arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
– The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
